Video Tutorial Part 2

We don't do 'Cookie Cutter' !

One of the unique features of the BoaterBaseā„¢ platform is your abiiity to present you content the way you see fit.

Just like there is no one boat that works for everyone on all waters, we don't think your boat listing should only take one form.

Of course we include the specifications most people need to see and are able to search on, but there's no set format that effectively serves all listings.

After all the basic specs you want to include are posted and the main images are in the gallery, you can create custom content blocks to highlight the areas of the boat you want to focus on.

For example, maybe you have an amazing engine setup, a fishing rig for any diehard, or a sail plan Dennis Conner or Kenny Read would drool over...

No problem... create any section with a title, text areas and even more images!

We build it like this:

The CONTENT STACK

Just select the kind of content you want to add, enter your text or add image, and drag and drop the blocks to the position you want them in.

NOTE:  You cannot add media into a text block. The content you create will appear in a stack. This makes it possible for us to keep a common layout in all your listings, even if you share them outside of the BoaterBase platform.

The content block menu will always appear at the bottom of the customizable area, and create your next block there.  We usually add our text blocks first, then create our titles and drag them all into order. Finally we create different image blocks for different sections and drag them into place.  How you approach it is up to you.

Finally, stay tuned for  the upcoming formating interface that will allow you to create some simple adjustments within the text area, like bullets and hyperlinks. Check out updates for feature additions.
